How to use the Palm Desktop Updater to upgrade or downgrade your ROM:
1 Launch desktop updater(Dont click start yet)
2 Go to your temp folder by typing %temp% on your run command console
3 Locate payloads.XML file (can be found in odd numbered folder)
4 Open XML File with notepad exe
5 Replace RWE with your current carrier, e.g. ROW, VFU, etc
6 Replace low 1.16 to 1.13
7 Replace high 1.16 to 2.24
8 click file SAVE
9 Exit the explorer window
10 Return to Updater window and click start
11 Let the updater run through until the final stage
No more unsupported device message!
The Firmware version number should be updated with this method.
For me, I now have 2.23-ROW instead of just being stuck at 1.15-ROW..
