After months of happiness with my e61i today I started getting the "standby mode viewsrv 11" error which renders my phone unusable.. After so many battery-pulls to breathe life back into it, I decided it might be time to do a total spring clean..
I didnt back up since I sync my phone to Outlook and have all the apps saved on my laptop, otherwise make sure to do a back=up before doing a hard reset..
Soft reset (same as a battery pull) does not wipe out the data: *#7780# code 12345
Hard reset / Master reset (wipes the phone clean rendering it to be brand new again): *#7370# code 12345
After resetting to "new" state, I proceeded to install my apps and restore all the data..
So far so good...
